Small Business Workshop Series!
As the new president of The Greater Stamford Hispanic Chamber of commerce, I'm thrilled about what's ahead of us for the next two years. At this organization, we're focused on implementing all of our skills with great passion so that hispanic business owners get better tools to further strenghten their network and mark their presence within the business community in our area. GSHCC is undergoing a new phase; we have seriously reevaluated our principles and created new goals. Best of all, our Chamber has welcomed new members, and these are individuals of great confidence in their areas of expertise. With that in mind, I'd like to remind all of our members and fellow teammates the essential points of our mission statement: and objectives:
At The Greater Stamford Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, we are commited to develop, promote and project the Hispanic businesses market in Greater Stamford, and Lower Fairfield County area.
We are commited to support economic
growth and education, our Chamber shall serve as a business resource, a forum and bridge of integration to the entire community.
Purpose
The objectives of our orporation are the following:
- To preserve the competitive enterprise system of business by creating a better understanding and appreciation of the importance of Hispanic and non-Hispanic businessmen and women and a concern for their problems.
- To educate the Hispanic and non-Hispanic business community and represent them in city, county state and national legislative and political affairs; addressing the issues which are detrimental to the expansion and growth of the Hispanic and non-Hispanic Business Community.
- To promote the business interest and condition of Hispanic and non-Hispanic businesses, merchants and markets.
- To stimulate the higher standards and better business practices among Hispanic and non-Hispanic businessmen and women, professionals and merchants.
- To encourage and promote cooperation among Hispanic and non-Hispanic businessmen a women, professionals and merchants.
- To promote economics designed to strengthen and expand the income potential of all member businesses with in the trade area as well as promoting programs of civic, social and cultural nature which are designed to increase the functional and aesthetic values of the community; discovering and correcting abuses which prevent the promotion of Hispanic and non-Hispanic business expansion and overall growth of the Hispanic and non-Hispanic Community, and in general the Community as a whole.
